Past steady streams, bending rocks, the charcoaled stump of a once-towering redwood, a clearing where hundreds of butterflies sun themselves in a quiet rhythm of pulsing wings, sunlight dripping through branches, the patterns moving across my face -- As I walk memories of the past year swirl in me... I think of all of you. And from deep in the wilderness, without even the technology of the watch, I get excited that I can reach you all on our blog!!
Back in Berkeley now, will be missing you more. Big kisses to each of you!!

a mother and her child, on the platform in a rush. she carries a backpack, in one hand a bag, her daughter's hand in the other. the little girl in a sky-blue dress over which she wears a frilled white apron. her long, blond hair wound across her head in braids; blue eyes catch a glimpse of mine in the adjacent train, camera out of reach.

The new products of your dear friends, Bibia.
Yoram will produce an installation, to tell the truth.
As for me, I will have a movie at a screening in Kroeber, like last semester.
Fear not though, Bibia, for we will document the installation and I will make sure to bring a copy of movie to Paris when I come and visit you.

As we walked home after the big Segolene Royal Meeting earlier this evening
The sun leading our way
I felt hope that we could win on sunday
And happiness that 60 000 people attended the gathering

Ancient Arabic poem sent by a friend

Lanterns
Hang from the night sky
So that your eye might draw

One more image of love upon your silk canvas
Before sleep.Words from Him have reached you

And tilled a golden field inside. When all your desires are distilled
You will cast just two votes:

To love more,
And be happy.

Take the sounds from the mouth-flute of Hafiz
And mix them into your seed pouch.

And when the Moon says,
"It is time to Plant,"

Why not dance,
Dance and Sing?

Hafiz

too busy to post

Personally I am too busy watching candidates on television...

We may think about getting rid of the dream section and comment our dreams directly as new posts instead. This would save us our average, since in this country everything is about numbers, figures, average points and so on. Probably nobody would even care. In general we need to always remember that soma is just another distraction of the mediotechnological world that surounds us. (But, in fact, and of course, I know it, we meant it to be sth. else. I just keep yo's shocking langugae to raise awareness. Let's see how much of it it takes.)

this posting is just to alert you about this dangerous posting trend

by posting this post i am trying to reverse the dangerous posting trend that is threatening us all... every month since our procreation, we have been posting less and less posts! at this rate of always writing less than half as many post in three months as we wrote in the previous three-month period, soma will be dead in no more than a year... soma wake up!

I have to say...

...the castro theatre is quite stunning.
And the movie was quite good.

The Rules of the Game

What about this instead?
It's at 9.15 at the Castro Theatre in SF. Getting on the 8.07 BART would be perfect.
