Wednesday, I m flying to NYC,
But tomorrow, tuesday the 19th, I'll be running on errands and to the embassy in the City.
If anyone wants to come, meet me at 11 am inside the powel bart station, right after the gates coming from Berkeley.
Otherwise, I'll probably see you next year...
Bisous to you.

Ok, so we are all meeting at Sophie's house at 9pm. Mi raccomando, do not be late.
Sophie lives at the house on the corner of Haste and Fulton. North side of the street. Cute stairs.
For Juliette:
Bibia cannot reply, but she told me that if they want to come it is mandatory that they bring alcohol. Mandatory.
Mh, your feet are kinda big, I don't think they're gonna fit.

Guys, all of you, Bibia and I are here communicating the close-future events:
• 6pm: Bibia and Nico go to Nico's place to leave there their bags and stuff, as no backpack of any sort is allowed into the greektheatre
• 7pm: the rally starts, and by that time we should be in
• 8ish/9ish: we go back to nico's place to dress up for Wolf's Fuck Like Bunnies party, and have dinner.
• 10ish: the party starts, and at around that time we'll get there.
• 1 am: as usual, the co-op parties end at this time. i suggest we go get boba then.

string bean theory

And this is why it is so important to be alone and attentive when one is sad: because the apparently uneventful and fixed moment at which our future sets foot in us is so much closer to life than that other loud and fortuitous point of time at which, as from outside, it happens to us. The more still, more patient and more open we are when we are sad, so much the deeper and so much the more unswervingly the new goes into use, so much the better do we take it to ourselves, so much the more will it be our destiny, and we shall, when on some later day it "happens" (that is, goes forth out of us to others), feel in our inmost selves akin and near to it. And that is necessary.
- Rilke, Letters to a Young Poet

Birthday Party Reloaded
Let's do the second part of the birthday party this week before it's too late...
What about tomorrow night, maybe a little dinner in a nice and cheap little restaurant, we give the presents and then we go stydy at the library, how exciting!
What do you think?

HELP
Guys,
I need your help.
The more we are the better it is.
I would like to have a recording session in our usual Kroeber studio room.
What we would do is just reading Molly Bloom, the chapter without punctuation from Joyce's Ulysses.
I will direct you guys, and select certain sentences which will have to be read by somebody in particular. Some words will overlap with somebody else's, and one of us will more or less be reading the whole thing.
I know I'm not making any sense...
Anyway.
Yo'all free this Thursday night?
No wait, Yoram, we had something this thursday right? Tomorrow - wednesday night?
Bibia, are you here?

Vote online!
Democracy's the game of the year. On 11/7, it's even in one of the many play stations near you! Save the date.If you wish to engage in a more decent act of voting, register for the following.
Proposition 1
[] In order to enhance our collective experience of watching movies, we shall all meet on Sunday for a dreaming screening of "Der Himmel über Berlin". A record of the film will be provided.
Measure A
[] We are strongly in need of an appropriate location for the purpose described above. As this goes into effect, further efforts for the availability of equipment and side servings, such as projector, player, crêpes, and/or a screen of any kind, will have to be made. Please use the space in the comment section to make your dreams available for discussion.

Paris
Dear all,I am back in Paris, city of lights. The Flight went well and just a few hours after arriving I was already in a coktail party at the Senate, pretty weird experience. My talk at the conference went fine, even though I hate to tell you I suck at talking in public...It was pretty amazing to be at the Sorbonne (picture) and to listen to that many very interesting women.
I hope you are all enjoying your week end in butiful Berkeley. Is it still raining as hell?
Love you all.
